Tree of Life

I only just realized my tree looks like a giant eye O.o

Well, here's the final product of my sketch, plus several hours of painting. It's just a lot of free-styling, meaning I didn't try to copy any other picture. I only used some refs for shading of the tree bark and fire and to figure out how to color the sky. Yep. Watercolor on regular paper. Wish me luck in winning the contest it was for!
